Ethical Dilemma Publishing Teacher Evaluation Results

posted on July 1, 2014 The newspaper I used to report for published stories about people when they did really amazing things, and published stories about people when they broke the law. We never published stories about people who simply did their jobs, regardless of whether or not an arbitrarily and irrelevant test determined that they were â€Å"ineffective.† It is highly unethical for the Los Angeles Times to publicly disseminate information that should be a private personnel matter. This counts as cruel and unusually punishment of people who have done nothing but put their heads down and work as hard as they can to make a positive difference in the lives of our nation’s children.
